How do I book a package tour with Sweden Experience?

You can book a tour on-line. You find the tool for on-line booking here. When booking on-line you will have a confirmation of your booking sent to your e-mail address within a couple of days, which contains all booking details. You can also book your tour by phone or by mail. Call +46 736 400066 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Eastern time (US). Then you will not wake us up in the middle of the night. Please observe that many of our departures are very popular and we therefore recommend you to book your tour good time in advanced.

How do I pay for my ticket?

After you have made your booking, you will receive an invoice by mail which includes a registration fee of 10 % of the total amount, which will not be refundable at a future cancellation. This fee must be paid within 10 days, otherwise the tour will be cancelled. Please check the confirmation so all details are correct. If they are not, contact us as soon as possible.

The final payment of the remaining amount for the tour (90%), will be paid after the tour.

How do I get my travel documents?

When Sweden Experience has received the total amount for your booking you will have a confirmation and your travel documents sent to your home address.

Travels Guarantee Act

Sweden has a governmental law that guarantees travel customers of a Swedish tour operator, safety and economical compension in the unlikely event of a liquidation or other inconveniences. This means that you as a traveller of one of Sweden Experience's package tour always have a protection regarding the prepayment of the tour. Sweden Experience arranges and sells package tours and is therefore subordinated to the Travels Guarantee Act. Read here if you want to have more information. 

Cancellation

The following per person cancellation fee applies: More than 60 days prior to departure: US $200; 60-45 days: US $500; 44-10 days: US $2000; less than 10 days: non-refundable. Cancellations must be in writing. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. Contact Sweden Experience by e-mail or by phone: +46 736 400066 if you have questions about cancellations. When doing a cancellation, send an e-mail to info@swedenexperience.com where it says why you are making the booking, your confirmation number and date. You will get a confirmation of your cancellation within two days. If you have not received a confirmation of your cancellation you will need to send it again. 

Travel Insurance

Sweden Experience strongly recommend a travelinsurance. Sweden Experience cooperates with Travel Safe, where you can buy your travel insurance on-line. Our prices

Our price is always including VAT/Taxes. There are no other costs for you as a traveller on the packages that are included in the tour prize. To see what is included in our tours, please visit Our tours. All service charges and taxes at hotels are included, so extra tipping will not be necessary. Gratuities to tour director/guide and driver are customarily left to the discretion of the tour member and are therefore not included in the tour cost. The prize do not include international air-fare. This is to enable for our customers to extend their tour with a visit to some of the nearby European cities or the northern parts of Sweden. This would be difficult to do if airfare is included. But we can of course help you to book your flight. Sweden Experience cooperates with SAS and Icelandair. For more information about flights to Sweden, please visit www.flysas.com or www.icelandair.com. Due to currency fluctuation, prices may change over time. After having paid your registration fee, the final payment will be the same.   

Minimum Participants

Sweden Experience guarantees that all tours will run during the year unless they are fully booked. We therefore strongly recommend you to book your tour early.


Passport and Visa

Each passenger must be in possession of a passport with a validity of at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of their trip. A visa is not required for American citizens to Scandinavia or Western Europe for stays of less than 3 months. If you are about to extend your trip with a visit to Russia, a visa is required. Due to increased travel security around the world, it is very important that your airline ticket matches your first and last name exactly as it reads on your passport. Any changes to your air booking, which include spelling, could be subject to a change fee, penalties, or cancellation.

Vaccinations

You will not need any vaccinations for travelling to Scandinavia.

Flexibility

Sweden Experience is a flexible company that always looks to the comfort and maximum pleasure for our travellers. Therefore, we might need to change some of the destinations or dates if something is coming up that will affect your tour in a negative way. But we guarantee that the change always will be to your advantage.

Special Requirements

Do you have any special requirements? Allergis? Medical restrictions or handicaps? No problem! Just remeber to tell Sweden Experience all about them when doing your booking.

Duration

Tour duration is based on arrival in Sweden to departure from Sweden. You will always be picked up and left on the airport by Swede Experience. Flight time from USA to Sweden is estimated to 10-15 hours.

When travelling with Sweden Experience, we require that you follow the guidelines that Sweden Experience requires.

Who can join?

We at Sweden Experience believe that everyone can join our tours, but we kindly ask people with small children to keep them at home. That is for the convenience for the other participants in the group, and for you to have a maximum experience. There will be travelling by bus together with courses and meetings, which are not recommenced for small children. Children above 12 years old are welcome!

Responsibility

Sweden Experience, its agents, employees, representatives, associated companies and travel agencies through which the tour was booked, are not responsible for any damages, accidents, losses, detention, annoyance, consequential damages of any kind; delays, and expenses due to same; quarantine, strikes, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled; disturbances, government actions, restrictions or regulations, discontinuance or change in transit or hotel services or schedules; and any other causes over which we have no control and which are not caused by any negligence, wrongful action or omission on the part of Sweden Experience, its agents, employees, representatives, associated companies and travel agencies.

Without limiting the above, you are hereby given notice, and you hereby understand and agree of the above.

Cancellations by tour operator

Sweden Experience reserves the right to cancel any tour up to 30 days prior to departure. In the event the tour is cancelled, Sweden Experience has no responsibility beyond full refund of monies paid by the participant.
